Editorial Policy
As a rule, if a book is mentioned on Slushpile.net, that’s generally because we like it. There is far too little media space devoted to literature to waste it on bad books. That’s not to say we won’t have a go at a particularly rancid piece of shit if necessary. But just so you know where we’re coming from, the majority of book references on this site are going to be positive.

In the interest of full disclosure, Scott’s books have been published by HarperCollins and he is currently under contract with the house. John’s books have been published by Apress and Focal Press.
