National Book Award Winners Announced

The National Book Awards were handed out last night. Here are the winners:

Fiction: Peter Matthiessen for Shadow Country
Nonfiction: Annette Gordon-Reed for The Hemingses of Monticello
Poetry: Mark Doty for Fire to Fire
Young People’s Literature: Judy Blundell for What I Saw and How I Lied
