Blogger Signs Book Deal
And this time, it’s a great thing. As opposed to the high-profile cases of bloggers signing massive deals only to provide little in way of their writing, this one is bound to be good.
Earlier this week, Publishers Marketplace reported that lit blogger Mark Sarvas signed a deal with Bloomsbury for a novel entitled Harry, Revised. The posting stated that the book is “about a guilt-ridden, down-on-his-luck widower, who tries to reinvent himself following his wife’s untimely death.”
Mark is incredibly active in the support of good literature. His blog is magnificent, his literary taste is sophisticated and skilled, and the whole Litblog Co-Op thing was his idea. This is one book I’m looking forward to reading.
Congratulations, Mark.
