Protecting Your Blind Side Is Worth Seven Figures
Variety reported that the film rights to Michael Lewis’s The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game were won by Twentieth Century Fox in “in a heated bidding war that pushed the price past seven figures.”
Although Lewis’s previous best seller Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game dealt with baseball, his newest book looks at college football. In fact, it focuses on Michael Oher, a 344-pound teenager who is now starting at left tackle for Ole Miss.
And on Friday, Lewis will give a reading at Square Books in Oxford, MS. Call 1-800-648-4001 for more details.
