No doubt salivating at getting the Scott & Laci Petterson crowd to open up their wallets again, book folks are already encircling the Neil Entwistle case. Publishers Marketplace ran a report yesterday that Brian McDonald has sold an untitled nonfiction book on Entwistle, the British man accused of murdering his wife and baby in Massachusetts to St. Martin’s.
A tragic death of a young mother and daughter. A computer that seems to be giving up all kind of juicy secrets about the accused researching how to kill people. A trans-Atlantic flight from justice. And now book deals. It’s all lining up perfectly. The deluge of Petterson books didn’t come until much later in that case, but I guess they’re getting an early start this time. Can media-hound celebrity attorney Gloria Allred be far behind?
