Speaking of Athletes and Writing

FOXSports is featuring an excerpt from an article written by Kobe Bryant. The piece appears in its entirety in Dime magazine. Kobe writes about his motivation, the desire to win, what it means to be a role model, and a little about his background growing up in Italy.

We know that celebrities usually have a co-author or ghostwriter when they have book projects. But how do they do these magazine articles? Is there a ghostwriter assigned or does the editor just work a bit more heavily on the celebrity piece than a normal article? I don’t know right now, but I’ll see what I can discover.
