Book Deals In da Club and On the Trail

(alternate text)

A couple of interesting book deals recently reported by the fine folks at Publishers Marketplace… First 50 Cent sold a line of “street fiction” that includes both novellas and graphic novels to Louise Burke at Pocket and Jacob Hoye at MTV Books/Pocket. The series, G-Unit Books, will be kicked off in 2007 with a hip hop novella by Nikki Turner.

Meanwhile, I’m surprised it took someone this long, but Natalie Holloway by Lisa Pulitzer was sold to Charlie Spicer at St. Martin’s. The book promises to explore “the truth behind the Aruba disappearance of Natalie Holloway.”
